'My present work has been dedicated to reviving the status of “floral “ decoration in ceramics, with an emphasis on wild plants.

My "Trees" lamps are a new departure for me, with an emphasis on landscape and the "colour" of weather.

All my work is white earthenware with Tin-glaze or “Maiolica “ hand painted decoration. This technique involves painting on top of a white Tin glaze prior to firing and it has a long history in European ceramics . It's called "Maiolica" in Italy and Spain, "Delft" ware in Holland and "Faience" in France'.
